ello everyone,

dont know if anyone's ever seen this happen before, but to keep the length of this down, i was playing dragon's lair for a while (completing the bonus), completed it fine, which wasn't a problem.
A little while later i got booted off the server cause of an error, (i cant remember the code i got.) i logged back on as usual a short while later, and went out to do another mission, without checking what weapons i was using.
Went outside, and realised i wasn't wielding anything, and my weapons inventory was completly empty, check my inventory and all the weapons had vanished, so went back and look in the storage vault, and all the money & dyes and eventually all but 4 of my weapons (3 good bows and a perfect sundering sword) were all gone. no idea where they went or what's happened to them.

Hacking was the obvious answer, but it isn't as i change my password frequently to prevent this from happening. but i haven't got a clue whats going on - and the things that have gone are fairly random - (some expensive items left while cheaper ones taken) and so forth. anyone else ever have this problem or know what can be done?

Report it to Anet. Sounds like someone logged into your account though, which is what happens when you do - the first one logged in gets logged out.

yeah - can confirm it now, i was hacked in a very short space of time, but it was very costly. i can't count the losses, but it's absoultly huge - possibly hundreds of k and also losing 38 ectos, so theres one serious hacker out there, be warned.

you'd be right about that. this could be the biggest hack in guild wars without a doubt.

I doubt it, by far, Guinevere (from these forums) got his/her main character deleted, with fow armour and perfect items. And its not rocket science "hacking" some ones account, just use a key logger, and it won't matter if you change your password every day, because the hacker will know every key stroke you press.
